Description
The old, creaky floor was screwed down so it wouldn't squeak and would be stiff. Each board was screwed into all the floor joists. Then wooden sheets were laid on foam glue and nailed to the floor, which stiffened it. On this prepared floor, I put a underlay for the floor panels and flooring.
